As I know, all the Juniors had F11 as an index. Then the name F12 started with new 40 hp engine and refreshed look, almost similar to Deluxe at the front and distinguishly new at the back. At the same time, that new car, but with the old 34 hp engine equipped, got F11 as a name. It was cheaper version of F12. Since this moment all Junior and Junior Deluxe names was dropped.

Didn't the DKWs Junior and Junior Deluxe being renamed F11/F12 from 1963 to 1965 ?
